MetriCide is a 2.6% buffered glutaraldehyde that can be used and reused as a sterilant and high level disinfectant on immersible, lensed and delicate instruments for up to 14 days, (when monitored according to label instructions).
MetriTest™ 1.5% Test Strips are a chemical indicator test strip that monitors the minimum effective concentration (MEC) level of 1.5% of glutaraldehyde or greater during the 14-day use life to effectively sterilize and high-level disinfect. It is recommended to test the glutaraldehyde solution prior to each use to help prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
